Privacy policy
A template policy, to be reviewed before launch. It says what we collect when you ask for a quote, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are

What we collect and why
- Booking details (name, contact details, address, property details): to provide quotes and deliver cleaning services. Legal basis: contract.
- Quote requests and enquiries (name, phone, email, postcode, the service and your message): to send you a quote and reply to you. We ask for your consent on the form, and record when you gave it. Legal basis: consent, and steps before a contract.
- WhatsApp chats: if you message us on WhatsApp, our team sees your number and messages in WhatsApp, and we use them only to quote and arrange your clean.
- Payment records: to take payment and keep accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
What we don't do
We never sell your data, share it with marketing third parties, or pass your enquiry to other cleaning companies. Your booking stays with us.
Retention and your rights
Booking records are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes and enquiry messages for 12 months. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@mcrcleaningservices.co.uk. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
